APARTMENT INTERIOR | VILNIUS OLD TOWN
This project is a unique opportunity to explore the details of interior decoration from the late 19th century.
Before the renovation, many exterior and interior decorative elements used during that time have not survived, gradually fading away. Although this apartment has been fundamentally renovated, it was possible to discover partially preserved authentic elements: revealing the ceiling molding hidden under layers of time, uncovering fragments of original ceiling and wall paintings, and replicating the authentic parquet pattern.
The interior aims to maintain a minimalist yet cozy style: clean lines are accompanied by soft, light tones, natural materials, and flourishing plants. Only the essentials for a modern urban family are incorporated, ensuring that the space is not cluttered with unnecessary items or details. This allows the true charms of the apartment to unfold – the preserved authentic details and the new life of its inhabitants.
